Are you surprised when you visit your rental property to discover that there have been problems for weeks, but no one, not the guests, not the management, not the cleaning people, have told you about them?

Your management company and cleaners have their hands full. They rarely report every little problem with your vacation rental. It’s not convenient for them to take notes or to get on line later and tell you about them. They’re also not at your rental for very long, usually just spending a few hours cleaning after a guest departs.

However, the problems with your rental are still very fresh in the minds of your guests. After all, they just spent several days there. If you ask your recently departing guests about problems, they’re more likely to tell you about the broken remote control in the master bedroom, or the always-running toilet at the top of the stairs or the lack of linens that you promised. They’re usually simple things for you to fix, but you have to know about them first!

Your time is valuable and so is the time of you guests. So, we’ve made the guest survey simple and concise. RentalReply automatically emails the survey to your guests several days after they’ve checked out. There are less than 20 quick questions and your guests have have only three choices: Acceptable, Not Acceptable. The survey also includes some optional text areas where your guests can provide additional information, if necessary.

RentalReply surveys are completely confidential between you and your guests. They’re not public so you don’t have to worry about your guests posting incorrect information or anything else that shouldn’t be for public viewing. You can read the individual survey replies or you look at a summary of all surveys for any date range you specify.

STEPS:

1) By default, a survey request e-mail is sent to each guest automatically 10 days after their departure date. You can change this default in EDIT > Edit Letters > Survey Request

2) To send a survey request manually, select a specific reservation, then click the link “AUTOMATIC LETTERS > Survey Request”
