Auto-Sizing Spreadsheet Columns
Auto Size: Sometimes data extends beyond the width of the column. In order to be able to see all of the data, you must widen the column.
To Auto-Size all columns of an entire spreadsheet at one time:
1. Press Ctrl+A to highlight your entire spreadsheet
2. From the menu, select Format > Column > AutoFit Selection
To Auto-Size a single spreadsheet column:
1. Use your mouse to place your cursor between the columns headers. For example, place your cursor on the line that separates the letters A and B. You’ll notice that your mouse becomes a black double arrow.
2. When you double click with the arrow visible, the column will automatically size itself to fit the longest string of data in a cell.
